Two years ago Danny Ramadan was an underground LGBTQ activist in Syria dreaming of living in Vancouver. After suffering persecution for his work and sexuality he sought asylum in Canada and now lives just off Davie Street. This year Pride crowned him the 'Local Hero' and grand marshall of the parade for his continued activism. VICE reporter Sarah Berman got a tour of his favourite village hotspots.
