Most people take using the washroom for granted, but for people who identify as transgender, going to the toilet can be an anxiety-producing and even painful experience. The washroom has also become a battleground in the fight for transgender rights across North America. Ahead of the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, we go into bathrooms in Vancouver and meet two people featured in a new series by photographer Jackie Dives called, 'Sitting In Washrooms'.
